ABOUT THE ARTIST
Carlos Rodriguez is a Mexico City-based figurative artist whose work explores the intersections of sexuality and identity. Originally trained in graphic design at the Universidad de San Luis Potos, Rodriguez built a path in advertising as an illustrator and art director before fully committing to his practice as a painter.
Inspired by classical painting and naive art, Rodriguez works across drawings, paintings, and ceramics. His art celebrates the male figure, capturing moments of intimacy, fantasy, and uninhibited play.
